These race cars take on the likes of Mount Panorama each year and are podium finishers in the Sydney and Winton 300 Series. A favourite amongst drivers, the agile handling of these cars is well suited to the race track. As a Motorsport Australia approved race car, the RaceAway MX5 features a full competition roll cage, Momo race seat with enduro harness, competition coil overs and suspension all on Nankang AR1 tyres. Jump in the hot seat and understand why these tidy Mazda's are a favourite amongst racers. Race car hire includes your track day

l Track Day Details l

Pheasant Wood Circuit is only 1.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra in the Southern Tablelands, Marulan NSW. A technically challenging track, the tarmac boasts 9 corners over 1.6km with NSW's only two banked corners. Conveniently located 2km from the town of Marulan spectators are welcomed and comfortable with access to spectator stand, picnic area and vantage points around the track. The Day

• Track Days are run as an OPEN pit lane meaning you can come and go as you please (9am-4pm)
• Live Natsoft timing will be available 
• Garages and carports available - first in best dressed 
• Group coaching at 11:30am 
• Lunch 12:30-1:15pm
• Spectators are welcome! 
• Food and water is available 2km from the venue in the town of Marulan
• Track Days are run in all weather conditions
• All participants are required to read and sign RA and PWC driver waiver and receive wristband before heading out

RaceAway track days are an exciting way to get on track and experience life in the fast lane. Led by Head Coach and Bathurst Legend Phil Alexander, our days are fast, fun, and full of value. Whether you want to talk car set up, lap times or how to get into the sport, you'll find a supportive community ready and waiting. A mix of newcomers and regular racers, our open pit lane days allow you to come and go as you please giving you full control of your track time. Our popular group coaching sessions take place at 11:30am offering a fantastic opportunity to get advice from qualified coaches.

Licensing 
We accept the following licenses: 

• Track day license available at sign-on $35 
• AASA
• Motorsport Australia
• Pheasant Wood Circuit

Drivers MUST have a valid motorsport or track license to participate. Passengers do not need a license. 

What to wear

• Long sleeves and long pants with thin soled shoes for ease of maneurverability over pedals
• Full racing apparel 
• FIA approved helmet
• Helmet hire is available at the track, please let us know by emailing info@raceawaytracktime.com.au

All drivers and passengers must be covered to wrist and ankles and wearing an appropriate helmet. 

Race Car Hire

• Car hires will receive 6 x 15 minute sessions delineated with flags
• Race cars are performance vehicles and demand a level of experience with manual driving. You must be familiar with a manual car. 
• If you are unsure about which race car is suitable for your level of experience please get in touch as we would be happy to point you in the right direction
• You must read and sign the driver waiver before participating in the track day
